What issue are you seeing?
When sending a new message in the codex extension when the agent is running, the conversation gets interrupted. When i do the same in codex cli, the message gets queued. Is this intentional? Would prefer the queuing behaviour in the vscode extension as well. When i want to interrupt, i can do that manually.

Supporting this idea, this can make Codex so much competitive compare to Cursor.

Yes! I am very much missing this in the VS Code extension
Would be very nice to have this one https://github.com/openai/codex/pull/2637 also on the extension
This was added a while ago. We just forgot to close this issue.
