What version of Codex is running?

codex-cli 0.77.0

What subscription do you have?

GPT Business

Which model were you using?

gpt-5.2-codex (reasoning medium, summaries auto)

What platform is your computer?

Linux 6.12.57+deb13-amd64 x86_64 unknown

What issue are you seeing?

It was telling me it couldn't run commands or execute commands in read-only mode, but it could. It just requires approval each time. This is the mode I want to run it in. I seems to understand if I paste the docs to it but I shouldn't have to do that each time.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Uploaded thread: 019b6d28-83ba-7910-a097-6c72bf01fc13

What is the expected behavior?

It should act as if it weren't in supervised mode and edit files or execute commands. Then I can approve them one at a time.
