Ask for saving modified files before working on it

What feature would you like to see?

From time to time it happens that I edit a file codex is also working on (VS code plugin), e.g. I may add a comment, modify a suggested default etc. If one forgets to save and then ask codex for other changes, it results in different file content on disk vs. editor. The cumbersome solution is to go through a step-by-step accept/reject procedures.

It would be great if codex would give an advance warning (dialog box) that modified files exist and ask for saving all/continue nevertheless/reject submission of the current prompt.
