What version of Codex is running?
codex-cli 0.77.0
What subscription do you have?
max
Which model were you using?
codex 5.2
What platform is your computer?

What issue are you seeing?
Codex will just not run tool calls or ask for permission because it believes for some reason that because the tool call requires network it shouldn't even bother to ask?
