Show progress indicator during Codex update

What feature would you like to see?

When updating Codex, there is currently no visible progress indicator.
As an external user, it’s difficult to tell whether the update is actively downloading, stalled, or affected by local network issues.

It would be helpful to show a progress bar or at least some basic status messages (e.g. downloading, extracting, installing) during the update process, to improve transparency and user experience.
