Ability to add custom label to Linear issue upon completion

What feature would you like to see?

Currently, the Codex Linear integration posts a comment on the Linear issue when a task is completed. While this does generate an inbox notification, inbox notifications are often noisy and easily missed among many other updates.

It would be significantly more useful if the Codex bot could optionally apply a custom label to the Linear issue upon completion (or other configurable states). Labels are first-class signals in Linear and can be used to drive Kanban views, filters, and workflows.

With label support, teams could:

Create dedicated Kanban views that automatically surface Codex-completed or Codex-touched issues

Avoid relying on inbox notifications for workflow-critical updates

Integrate Codex more cleanly into existing Linear processes without additional manual triage

A simple option to apply one or more predefined labels on completion would make the integration more actionable and better aligned with how teams actually manage work in Linear.

Applying labels such as agent:blocked, agent:needs-input, or agent:completed would let teams surface agent state directly in Linear views and filters. That makes agent handoffs visible, actionable, and reviewable in the same place humans already manage work.

Labels function as durable workflow signals, which is especially important when agents run asynchronously or outside the IDE.
