Perhaps this will be helpful, I log in via my Google account.
The same problem here on the Plus subscription.
Additionally, I cannot use chatgpt.com, I get a 403 error everywhere when I type anything. On top of that, it shows me as if I had a Pro subscription:

@bvirlet, sorry to hear you're having issues. Based on your description, this sounds like a general ChatGPT auth issue, not specific to Codex. I suppose you've already tried logging out and logging back in to refresh your auth token? If that doesn't work, I recommend contacting OpenAI customer support.
this issue is happening especially with websockets

Ran 'codex auth login', then restarted codex after the login.
That eventually fixed it.
Could be a coincidence.

Same here, fixed by @attikov solution.
Run "codex auth login" in your Terminal, it will open a Browser to login again, then back to normal.

I just found this issue too and it went away by turning off my VPN.
