This error message indicates that Codex isn't able to contact the endpoint. It's likely a network configuration issue. Check to see if you have a VPN, firewall, or proxy that might be blocking access to that endpoint.
If you can't figure it out, we might be able to glean more information from your logs. You can use the
/feedbackcommand to upload your logs and post the thread ID here. Here it is @etraut-openai

Tried VPN, Direct Cisco Network -- directly on Windows, WSL ----- None works :(
Here's the thread ID in text:
019bc429-7024-7ca3-8c13-8df131a2d57cso others who are following this bug don't need to type it in from a screen shot.I don't see anything out of the ordinary in your logs. This looks like a basic connectivity issue. It can't reach that endpoint.
Are you able to log in to ChatGPT and use it?
@etraut-openai yes i am able to login to the Enterprise chat gpt. No problem with that

@SaidyAveera are you experiencing the same symptoms as @saiaprameya? If so, please use
/feedbackto upload your logs and post the thread ID here.Edit: Actually, I can tell from your screen shot that the error you're seeing is not the same. You appear to be using an Azure endpoint, and you're receiving a different error code (404). If you think you're experiencing a bug, please file a separate bug report.
@saiaprameya, sorry but I don't think there's anything else we can do here, so I'm going to close the issue.
I am having problems frome the windows machine too not just wsl. Using enterprise edition and is this the support that we get? Are there no debugging that needs to be done further?
If there is any live debugging that can done i am open to that too.
@saiaprameya, if you're using an enterprise plan, are you on a corporate network? If you have an IT team, they might be able to help you diagnose the problem you're seeing on your system.
same problem, this is an issues with codex. can openai replicate the issue

stream disconnected before completion: error sending request for url (https://chatgpt.com/backend-api/codex/responses)
no vpns, proxies, its on a personal laptop
How do i reopen this issue. OpenAI has to debug further does not seem a simple network issue here. Can you please reopen and repro this issue locally and debug.
cloudflare warp worked for me
