It sounds like you're seeing a problem with Cursor rather than Codex. The version number you reported doesn't correspond to any recent version of the Codex IDE Extension or CLI. Also, the Codex harness doesn't use your Cursor subscription. If you're running into problems with Cursor, you'll need to report it in their issue tracker.
