After installing the v0.88 build via Homebrew (brew upgrade), it will not launch as the system says it cannot verify it is not malware.

Apple could not verify “codex-aarch64-apple-darwin” is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.
What steps can reproduce the bug?

Workaround: Open Settings -> Privacy & Security and tell it to ignore.
Another workaround is to just clear the quarantine flag from the binary.
Confirm the flag is removed by running
xattrwithout the clear flag before and after:
