steps to reproduce the bug

i.ask codex to response something long without line break or open your any existing codex conversation that not too short.
ii. hold cmd key then tap '+/=' key once or any times you time.
iii.saw the word break in real time.

i love codex cli that 30× more memory efficient compare the Claude code.
